Madan Estate AA
In 1964, John Coleman visited Papua New Guineau and fell in love with the Waghi Valley. He applied for an Agricultural Lease via the PNG government and was granted a portion of land that would become Madan Estate. The name refers to a small hill located within the farmland. After purchasing the land, Coleman went to work and drained the land and built roads to pave the way for coffee production. During this hand-construction, various archaeological relics were found and preserved. This is a historical farm, and thanks to the work of its founders, these artefacts were saved from natural decay.
