Mercanta was founded in London in 1996, and we have used the same warehouse facilities almost from the very beginning. Our London team works in our offices based in Norbiton, Surrey, we ship coffee from our warehouse in Bury-St-Edmunds to more than 30 countries around the world

Our Glasgow Office and Cupping Lab were established in 2019, staffed by Stephen Cornford. It was set up to strengthen our relationships with existing customers in Scotland and Northern England and engage with the regional coffee community.

Facilities

Our Berlin office and cupping lab was established in January 2021 and looks after the Central and Eastern Europe markets. The coffees ship from our warehouse in Hamburg, as well as from our UK warehouse in Bury St. Edmund. This office is manned by Juan Cano, who transferred from our office in Medellin, Colombia.

Our Mercanta North American office was established in 2006. Since then we have been delivering coffee across the United States, Canada, and Asia. Our Mercanta North America warehouses are located in New Jersey, Houston, and Washington state. Customers in Canada may also choose to order from our entire portfolio in the UK warehouse for delivery by sea or air.

Mercanta Limited (DMCC Branch) aka Mercanta Dubai, was founded in October 2018. With one warehouse, we serve the entire GCC which include: United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Jordan. However, we are not limited to the GCC, we will be more than happy to expand as we receive requests from other neighbouring countries.
