Our visits to Sumatra in 2004 and 2007 to establish direct trade relationships gave us an oportunity to cup coffees from many areas. There are also several organic certified producing areas and these coffees are received and processed separately by the mills to retain the organic status.

The growers that produce this coffee are located around the town of Aceh Tengah, close to Lake Laut Tawar in the centre of Aceh Province in the far north-west of Sumatra.
